edci337-blog :week 1 reflection

An example of interactive media would be twitter, youtube, or instagram.

here is an example of youtube video, it is about AL resotred video on old china in the early 20th century. It restores the black and white videos with color so people can see it more clearly and give them a new impression of how things were like back then. The interactive part is that people can share their thought under the video and comment on each other’s though about their impressions and the informations that they know.

it is an example of multimedia because youtube allows images or videos to be shown with audio, and there are words and texts that can be displayed in front of those images and audio.

it is both an interactive media and multimedia, therefore, it is an interactive multimedia.

I am taking this course because i have previously taken edci 335 and 339 and i found myself liking it alot and feel like i wanted take curriulum and instruction as a skill to learn because sometimes in the future i might be teaching certain things to someone. In both courses, i found the activities very engaging and fun to work with, you are able to learn alot thru it and actuall minic being an instructor and teacher creating the learning process for the people that are targeted, it makes you feel powerful in a way that you are helping people out in a smart and effective way. I expect edci 337 to give me that same or similar experiance in doing so. Other edci not only contains exams and fixed knowledge, but rather create our own learning feed and generate different format of learning content for assement which was fun for me and not one dimentional. also lot of the things were interactive with other classmate, that i’ve found it fun as well.
